bulleted life update:
- Slowly but surely getting back to my typical (busy) schedule. It’ll really hit overdrive next week so I’m enjoying my dwindling free time!
- I started interning at a new company in Austin this week. It’s equal parts PR and design focused, so I think I’ll get to work on some pretty neat projects. So far, it’s been some sketches for a magazine and the ball is rolling for a big SXSW event that we’re a part of. However, this is my first ever unpaid internship. So scheduling is pretty flexible, I don’t have a specific number of hours to work a week.. definitely different than any job/internship I’ve had before. Also: we may be making a move over to the East side very soon! Fun, fun.
- So cliche of me, but 2012 is off to a healthy (or at least healthier) start! I’ve been making and drinking a lot of fresh fruit smoothies and yesterday, I got a new pair of running shoes (my old pair mysteriously vanished…) and went for my first run of 2012. I really hope to keep it up. I don’t have a great track record with that, though.
- Next on the list: re-cutting out sodas. I go through long periods of time when I don’t drink them but of course with the holidays and whatnot, I’m back on that Dr. Pepper train.
- I got a Kindle Touch for Christmas… I LOVE my printed books and adore filling my shelves with them, but constantly being on-the-go doesn’t lend itself to carrying around large or heavy books and the Kindle will hopefully push me to read more and more often. That being said, I’m on the hunt for an affordable, but durable case. Any suggestions?
- Sad girlfriend bullet: Daniel has been pushing marathon hours in the recording studio and/or has been sick as a dog with cedar fever, so I haven’t seen him all week! It wouldn’t typically be a big deal, but as soon as his busy week calms down, my busy week will be starting up… persistently opposite schedules, womp womp.
- I’m currently watching “40 Greatest One Hit Wonders of the 90s”.. and it’s awesome. Days off, am I right? Also defrosting some venison for slow-cooker chili! Mmmm.

Michael got me a Kindle Touch for x-mas! I love it. I’m not sure if there are many cases out there right now, though. I especially like how you can download so many free classics.

I don’t know if you have seen the bags I have made, but I could possibly make you a kindle case depending on what you want! I made a friend one that was sorta like a laptop case with a button flap closer. FB me if you are interested at all! :) -Amy
