i’m the only one that doesn’t get piles of cash or new macbook pros for christmas.
not that i’m ungrateful for what i do get.. believe me! i specifically asked for and got a new saute pan. and i got a really fancy sewing machine! and a mouse for my laptop, and then some.. all wonderful, useful things that i do actually love.

my parents’ house is so close (by Houston standards) to the Houston airport that whenever planes fly over, they look big… not the tiny pinpoints in the sky you usually see. it’s kind of amazing. to me, at least.
my brother and i counted three probably-close-to-landing planes while we were outside for less than ten minutes. i could tell exactly which airline they were from.

to explain my family a bit:
my dad is currently in the kitchen with a meat grinder and some wild pork that my brother shot while they were down at the deer lease. haha.
we also eat a lot of wild venison. it’s very lean, there are absolutely ZERO additives or preservatives and it’s 100% organic and natural.
my dad gets the venison processed into ground meat, as well as sausage, jerky, and all kinds of other...
