confession.
i love leftover salad.
when it’s been in the fridge for about 24 hours, so it’s super chilled. and it gets kinda soggy, but still has a crunch and the flavors are all mixed together.
and then you add a little of this:

and it is delicious.
i am my father’s daughter. picked it up from him. :)
some days
i’m just quiet. just plain quiet. i’d rather observe and listen than speak.
today was one of those days.
where nothing bends me out of shape or bothers me. it’s peaceful.
i did some shopping, by myself. it was nice to only have to say “hi” and “thank you”. and then maybe sing along to a song in the car. or maybe not. i texted a friend, but didn’t...

fact:
silences are rarely (if ever) awkward to me. actually, i rather enjoy them.
